Bhopal: Two coaches of Rani Kamlapati-Saharsa special train derailed on Monday evening at Itarsi station in Madhya Pradesh. There is no report of any casualty in this incident. The official said, “The train was about to reach platform number two when its two coaches derailed.” A major accident was averted because when two coaches derailed, the speed of the train was less than five kilometers.
Officials said- no one was hurt
Officials said that the train was going from Rani Kamlapati towards Saharsa when the accident happened near Itarsi railway station. Officials said that no damage was caused in this incident which happened at 6:10 pm. Currently the train is standing on platform number two. Officials said that the reason behind the accident is being investigated. Currently no damage has been caused in the accident.
AC coach derailed
Officials said that two wheels of coach B-1 and four wheels of B-2 of the train have derailed. The coaches which have derailed have been separated and another coach has been attached. Currently, passengers are being shifted to other coaches. According to the passengers travelling, when the coach derailed, there was a lot of screaming and shouting, however, people showed restraint due to which an accident did not happen.

Giving information, officials said that due to the accident, many trains have been stopped at small stations. Officials are present on the spot to schedule the operation of trains and send the trains soon on the platform. Many trains have been standing at small stations for hours. Due to which the trains have been delayed.
