The Secretariat for Integrated Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) issued a red alert for heavy rains in Coyoacán.
In addition to orange alert in the municipalities of Alvaro Obregon, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras and Tlalpan. Yellow in Azcapotzalco, Benito Juarez, Cuauhtemoc, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco, Iztapalapa, Miguel Hidalgo, Milpa Alta, Tlahuac, Xochimilco y Venustiano Carranza.

Given the multiple reports of flooding in the areas referred to, the Mexico City Water System (Sacmex), together with the capital’s Fire Department, launched operations to address the self-denials.
