The national president of Morena, Mario Delgado, celebrated that the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) validated the triumph of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo as president-elect of the United Mexican States, following the results of the June 2 elections.
“We celebrate the decision of the TEPJF to declare the election valid. With almost 36 million votes, our movement triumphed with the support of Dr. Sheinbaum, who will be the first female President in the history of our country,” she wrote on social media.
During the session of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation, the president of the body, Mónica Soto validated the triumph of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who will serve as President of the United Mexican Statesas she was the candidate with the most votes in the presidential election on June 2.

“The first female president of Mexico is an unprecedented event and a corollary of the constant struggle of Mexican women,” said Soto.
Meanwhile, the president of TEPJF stated that Sheinbaum met the constitutional requirements To serve as president, she must be a Mexican citizen, be the daughter of a Mexican mother and father, have resided in the country for at least 20 years, and be of the required age at the time of the election.
