After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government, the sports organizers who had been neglected for so long came to the fore. Due to opposition party politics, they did not get anywhere till now. Almost all sports federations including the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) are conducting their exercises.

This time the former captain of the national football team and the winning goalkeeper Aminul Haque came to BCB. On Tuesday (August 13) morning, he appeared with the team at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Stayed for more than 4 hours from morning to noon.

After the exercise, Aminul faced the media. At this time he promised that there will be no party people in any federation.

“I promise you, in Bangladesh in the future, no cricket board says no federation, no politicization, partying will be done anywhere. We have learned this in the last 17 years, the dictatorial behavior we have seen, we do not want any more dictatorship to come.’

‘Sports is a place for ordinary people. I do not see the basis of any party opinion there. If we can get rid of politicization and partisanship, we want to equip every federation and cricket board with the people who are the core of Bangladesh and the organizers of the field. I promised you that there will be no opportunity to give preference to any particular party.

Aminul was accompanied by BCB Grounds Committee Chairman Rafiqul Islam Babu, Quab General Secretary Debbrat Pal and sports organizer Tariqul Islam Titu. They have raised their demands in BCB. One of the demands is the voluntary resignation of the current board directors.

“There is a time for everything, there is a process, they have noted our demand, we have said that the current cricket board should immediately resign voluntarily and by resigning we will form a new committee with our advisor sir. Let’s run the board’-said Aminul.
