This weekend a new frontal system will arrive, which will leave precipitation in several parts of the country.
After a rather dry month of July, August arrived with heavy rains and winds in different parts of the country, where the central-southern zone was severely affected by material damage, fallen trees and power outages that have continued until this Friday.
According to the Meteorological Directorate of Chile (DMC), the arrival of a new frontal system is forecast that will leave precipitation in different regions of Chile this weekend, specifically this Sunday, August 11whose date will mark the celebration of Children’s Day.
In detail, Rain is expected in seven regions during these days, while in four of them there will be drops on Sunday.
Which regions will see rain this weekend?
During this Saturday Rain is expected in the Biobío RegionIn Concepción and Los Angeles they will be recorded in the morning, while in Lebu they will extend from the early morning until late afternoon.
The Araucanía Region will have precipitation during the early morning and Saturday morning in cities such as Angol, Temuco and Puerto Saavedra. Meanwhile, in Pucón and Villarrica it will rain throughout the day.
