The Minister of Education in the Government of National Unity, Musa Al-Maqrif, met with the directors, teachers, and outstanding students of the African Union and Tariq Bin Ziyad Basic Education Schools, under the supervision of the Education Department in the municipality of “Bint Baya.”
During the meeting, the Minister listened to a briefing by the two school principals on the progress of the educational process and the problems they face.
During the meeting, the Minister appreciated “the efforts and keenness of the educational families in the two schools in creating ties of relations with the educational regions despite all the difficulties,” calling on teachers throughout the country “to follow the example of the educational families in the two schools.”
During his speech, the Minister stressed “the Ministry’s keenness to follow up on the educational process in the southern region through the visits made by the Ministry during the academic year and exams.”
At the end of the meeting, the directors of the African Union School and Tariq Bin Ziyad School, which are on a recreational, cultural and educational visit to the city of Tripoli and are hosted by the Education Department of the Abu Salim Municipality, honored the Minister of Education, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, and the Director of the Basic Education Department for their efforts in advancing the educational process.
The meeting was held in the presence of the Minister’s Advisor, Dr. “Abdul Salam Al-Sagheer,” and the Director of the Basic Education Department, Mr. “Hassan Abu Ghalia.”
