Saudi experts: Politico report on Bin Salman’s fear of assassination is biased!

by times news cr

Saudi experts have attacked a Politico report claiming that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman fears assassination like Anwar Sadat, describing it as “superficial” and “reeking of Israeli bias.”

International relations expert, Mr. Sami Al-Marshed, said: “They are trying in vain with such fabricated news to influence the Saudi project that achieves hope for the peoples of the region for security, stability, sustainable development and a decent life, which the leaders and peoples of the region and the world are looking forward to in order to resolve the issue of the Palestinian people peacefully, which will have a positive impact on all the intractable crises in the Middle East region.”

He stressed that they “failed to obstruct the project in the Gaza adventure and will continue to fail in the face of Saudi Arabia’s determination and leadership to implement what it promised.”

The comments came in response to a report published by Politico, in which a former US official and two other informed sources told Politico that Mohammed bin Salman had referred in his discussions with the Americans to the late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, who was assassinated after a peace agreement with Israel.

According to the newspaper, the Saudi Crown Prince was wondering what the United States had done to protect Sadat?

The newspaper added that he also spoke about the dangers in the context of explaining the necessity of including real movement towards establishing a Palestinian state in any potential deal with Israel.

One source quoted Mohammed bin Salman as saying that the Saudis care a lot about the Palestinian issue and the street in the Middle East cares a lot about it, and that his term as Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will not be safe if he does not address this issue, which is considered the most urgent in the region, according to Politico.

For his part, political analyst Mubarak Al-Ati confirmed that the Politico report is very superficial, and reeks of Israeli bias. It clearly confirms the American ignorance of the courageous leadership personality of His Highness the Crown Prince, who puts the interests of his country and nation above any other concerns. This report deliberately ignores the support, endorsement, and strong bond between the Saudi people and the leadership in the Kingdom, and the people’s belief in the correctness and wisdom of every escape and every step that His Highness decides or takes, internally or externally.”

He added: “This report also exposes the systematic distortion that His Highness the Crown Prince and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are being subjected to by the Western and Zionist media because of his strong adherence to the Palestinian state, based on the centrality of the Palestinian issue to the Kingdom and the Arabs, and based on the leadership and pioneering position that the Kingdom represents for the Arabs and Muslims.”
