On Tuesday, August 13, Angélica Jaramillo surprised her followers with an Instagram “live” session, where she revealed that she is going through a tough time and is “tired” of saying she is okay when that is not true.
“I am on drugs. I’m going to tell the truth… I have been using drugs for several years and it doesn’t make me happy, I mean it’s momentary happiness, yes, of course, but, what for? To avoid, calm down, or think about, or I don’t know, strong issues I’ve had in my life,” she said.

“I’m tired of being and saying that I’m okay when I’m not okay. Man, I always dreamed of being the best mom and the best wife (…) Angélica Jaramillo is getting carried away with drugs because she is not capable of getting up. It’s the truth, it’s the truth! And I quit this today. I am really tired,” she added to the harsh confession, which she herself admitted was made under the influence of psychoactive substances.

Laura and Sofía Jaramillo spoke out about the controversial video that quickly went viral. They explained that the model is going through a difficult process but is surrounded by her loved ones.
“This has been a very difficult and painful issue for our family for many years. We have been fighting alongside her and trying to help her overcome this difficult situation,” Laura Jaramillo indicated.
