jpnn.comPALU – Prospective Central Sulawesi Governor Candidate Ahmad Ali promised to improve the welfare of farmers through an insurance program if elected in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections.

This was conveyed by Ahmad Ali in his political speech at the declaration event of the AA-AKA charity pair which took place at Imanuel Field, Jl Prof Moh Yamin, Tatura Village, South Palu District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi.

“Farmers must be prosperous, if we want to improve the welfare of farmers, then the government must be present, the government must be able to ensure the availability of fertilizer for farmers,” said Ahmad Ali in his statement, Wednesday (14/8).

Ahmad Ali added that the government must be able to ensure the availability of quality seeds for farmers and be able to present modern agricultural technology.

“When these elements are fulfilled, God willing, farmers will be able to produce much better than today,” said Ahmad Ali.

Ahmad Ali realized that the problem of farmers is not only the availability of adequate seeds and fertilizers. The weather also plays an important role in the process of farmers’ work.

“For that reason, going forward, we realize what our government’s shortcomings are today, we realize what we have not been able to do today, namely that we do not yet have the technology that can engineer the weather and predict the weather,” said Ahmad Ali.

Therefore, Ahmad Ali and Abdul Karim Al Jufri plan to create a Farmer Insurance program if they are elected as leaders in Central Sulawesi.

Ahmad Ali added that the government must be able to ensure the availability of quality seeds for farmers and be able to present modern technology.
