In order to transform the economy of the regions most affected by conflict and inequality in Colombia, the Government and Grupo Éxito presented the alliance “From the land to your hands.”
This program seeks to benefit communities that are working to leave behind their dependence on illicit crops. and move towards legal and sustainable economies.
The main purpose of this initiative is to ensure that legal products from these communities reach the market at fair prices.eliminating intermediation and ensuring timely payments. This will not only strengthen local partnerships, but also consolidate existing production chains in the areas of influence.
Grupo Éxito, for its part, has committed to purchasing 400 thousand kilos of products monthly nationwide, from communities that are in the process of transition. These acquisitions will be made at stable prices, regardless of market fluctuations.and the products will bear a distinctive substitution seal, allowing them to be identified as part of the new legal economy.

For its part, the National Government will be responsible for supporting the communities so that they achieve the quality standards required by the Éxito Group.. In addition, it will implement an annual plan to improve delivery logistics and create a commercial strategy to promote the purchase of these products.
The National Government has assured that it will finance new productive projects and strengthen existing associations to increase the productive offer. This support seeks to activate commercial routes that guarantee the purchase of these products and, ultimately, improve the quality of life of the communities.
Although the Éxito Group had already worked on promoting replacement products in PDET municipalities, Never before has a direct marketing alliance been established, at fair prices and with guaranteed payments of this magnitude.This new model prioritizes direct purchasing from organizations that are part of the popular economy, with a focus on technical support to design an operational model that is viable on a large scale.
In addition to benefiting families enrolled in the National Comprehensive Program for the Substitution of Illicit Crops (PNIS), this alliance will also support those who, although not part of the program, wish to transition to legal economies. Currently, the PNIS has 70,698 active families and 14,397 former harvesters throughout the country.
