“Ludogorets” will want to erase the shame of the loss to “Karabakh” in tomorrow’s match against “Levski”, but the goal of the “blues” is to leave Razgrad with a victory.
This was announced by the head coach of “Levski” Stanislav Genchev at the press conference before the visit of the “blues” to “Ludogorets” in a match of the 5th round of the First League. The match is tomorrow at 21:15.
“We are ready for the match, that’s what we train for. To grow as a team, to play against the strongest. The mood in the team is good. We are looking forward to the match. We play every game to win. That is our goal in tomorrow’s meeting as well. Let’s go to Razgrad and win,” Genchev began.
“The loss of “Ludogorets” in Europe is a double-edged sword. Nobody likes to be eliminated from the European tournaments, even after such a result. This loss, which they collected against “Karabakh”, they will look to wash away the shame. These are classy football players with self-confidence and it is very difficult for them to play two weak matches in a row. That’s clear to me. They also have a new coach, which will motivate absolutely all the players,” added the head coach of “Levski”.
“At this point we have no problems except for Fabio Lima who is injured. I don’t think any of our players are in a position to underestimate Ludogorets despite their loss on Tuesday. After all, this is the champion of Bulgaria. They have to stay focused for the whole 90 minutes because of the class they have at Ludogorets, every one football player can decide the match with an outburst,” Genchev added.
He was adamant that the main goal of “Levski” is to play in European tournaments next season: “European evenings are part of “Levski”. The fans desperately need such matches. We want to play in Europe and we will do everything possible to be a European participant at the end of the year, God willing as champions”.
“I’m of the opinion that our style has to be built in every game and what we do well is to hold it against every single opponent. We have strengths to use. We will want to dominate. I’m sure it will be an interesting match,” Levski coach added.
“Some decision has to be made about this cancellation of matches. Here’s an example. “Karabakh” played in the championship, won and came and won in Razgrad. “Ludogorets” did not have a match and lost. This postponement of matches does not lead to anything good. In principle, a general decision should be made not to postpone these matches. Everywhere in the world it is played in 3 days”, concluded Genchev.
