Bhopal: The state level celebration of 78th Independence Day is being held at the Lal Parade Ground in the capital. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took the salute of the parade in an open jeep. Police and Home Guard jawans were also honored in this program. Flag hoisting is also being done in other 30 districts of Madhya Pradesh, where the state ministers are celebrating Independence Day.
CM Mohan Yadav saluted the parade
CM Mohan Yadav hoisted the flag at the state level function in the capital Bhopal. Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena was also present with him while saluting the parade in an open jeep. The main parade was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Bhopal, Mayur Khandelwal of the Indian Police Service, while the role of assistant parade commander was played by Assistant Fighter Hawk Force, Balaghat Sonu Kurmi.
17 contingents took part in the parade
17 contingents are taking part in the parade, which include Police Band, State Police Force, Special Armed Force (Northern Zone), Women’s Special Armed Force, joint contingent of District Force and Railways, Hawk Force, STF, Prison Department, NCC (Senior Wing Girls), Scouts and Guides.
Flag hoisting in 30 districts
Ministers are hoisting the flag in Independence Day programs in 30 districts of the state. Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya is hoisting the flag in Indore. Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar is hoisting the flag in Morena and Deputy CM Jagdish Devda is hoisting the flag in Jabalpur.
Details of State Government Schemes
The government of Madhya Pradesh is committed to taking the welfare schemes of the poor to the last person. The state’s target is to increase economic participation to 5% in the next five years. In this direction, the government is working on a plan to double the budget. The target of capital expenditure for the financial year 2024-25 has been set at Rs 64 thousand 738 crore. The Madhya Pradesh government is going to implement schemes like Yuva Shakti Mission, Garib Kalyan Mission, Kisan Kalyan Mission, and Nari Empowerment Mission.
Schemes for youth and women
Under the Yuva Shakti Mission, work is being done on education, skill development, employment, entrepreneurship and cultural development. Under the Nari Shakti Mission, girl child education, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and empowerment of women self-help groups are of top priority.
Economic and industrial development
60 new industrial units are being set up in the state, which will create more than 17 thousand employment opportunities. Under the Chief Minister Learn and Earn Scheme, stipend has been provided to 8 thousand selected trainees. 22 new ITI institutes have been established.
Respect for sports and players
Vivek Sagar, a member of the Indian hockey team that won bronze medal in Paris Olympics, is being given an incentive of Rs 1 crore. The players of the state who participated in the Olympics have made the state proud.
Public welfare and development schemes
The state government is providing assistance of up to 40 thousand rupees for the welfare of workers. Construction of 7 lakh houses has been completed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Madhya Pradesh government is working with the aim of making the villages of the state model ODF Plus villages under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
