In 1835, during the height of the Texas Revolution, General Sam Houston is trying to persuade people to move to Texas. After successfully capturing the Alamo and San Antonio-de-Bare from the Mexican army led by the Mexican dictator General Santa Anna, the provisional government of Texas is debating what to do next. In the process, General Houston is forced to step down as commander of the Texas army, and General Houston asks Colonel Jim Buey to go to the Alamo to retrieve the cannons. Lieutenant Colonel Travis of the regular army is also assigned to the Alamo, and even the famous Congressman David Crockett, who failed to be re-elected, gathers at the Alamo.
