Temporary customs duties came into force in the European Union on Friday, August 16, regarding Chinese biodiesel. Buying biofuel from China costs between 12% and 36% more than before. Provisional tax, the result of an investigation opened in December 2023 for unfair competition from Beijing. Since the announcement of this study, the Chinese market has fallen.
