Islami Andolan Bangladesh Senior Nayeb Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim has demanded to establish the dignity of vote and voter by introducing proportional representation (PR) system. He said that the anti-discrimination movement was done to eliminate all discrimination, to protect equality in all fields. Now, if there is discrimination again, then the students will form a movement again. We want a country free from oppression by stopping extortion.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the mass rally organized by the Narayanganj metropolitan and district branch of the Islamic Movement at DIT square in Narayanganj on Friday (August 16) afternoon to protest the genocide trial and anti-national conspiracy.
Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim said that by introducing PR system election system, the votes of the people of the country should be evaluated. In order to establish equality, human dignity and justice, the precepts of Islam must be followed.
He said that the educational system should be transformed into a world-class education and work should be done to create a competent and efficient nation. Extortion, usurpation and oppression should be stopped and a country free from terrorism and oppression should be given as a gift. The killers should be prosecuted and the smuggled money brought back.
“The freedom gained in exchange of blood should be kept intact and move forward. Expeditious tribunals should be set up to try murderers, and exemplary trials should be conducted, so that dictatorial groups cannot rise with their heads. “The culprits must be properly investigated and prosecuted in the last 16 years of the Awami League government’s regime of disappearances, murders, cases and torture,” he added.

Mufti Faizul Karim said, those remittance warriors who are running the wheels of the country with their money should be evaluated.
Regarding women’s rights, he said that Islam has given women the most rights. If the rights described in the Qur’an are established for women, all discrimination will be removed, and the dignity of women will be established.
Naib Ameer of the Islamic movement said that Sheikh Hasina has not only killed people, she has killed all the state institutions of the country, including the judiciary, electoral system, police department and administration. Sheikh Hasina should be tried at the International Criminal Tribunal. Judicial proceedings should be initiated by amending the law and appointing an experienced prosecution team.
He complained that people could not vote for years during the Awami League period. Countless people have lost their homes unjustly. Every incident should be properly investigated and judged.
Mufti Syed Faizul Karim said that in the last 16 years, the Awami dictatorship poisoned every person in the country through their cursed activities. Everyone except Awami League and their friends were oppressed and they were tyrants. Abuse of power, deprivation of rights, oppression, torture, disappearance, murder; Even selling the independence-sovereignty of the country, there is no deed, which they did not do.
Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmad said that administration should be formed free of corruption, misrule, terrorism and muscle power. Repatriation of money smuggled abroad and confiscation of corruptly earned money of the rulers. An Education Commission comprising of patriotic Islamic scholars and scholars should be formed and a new education curriculum should be formulated. The Election Commission should be organized.
