It happened on Friday, but the robbed person promptly reported the theft of the wallet containing cash and the credit card to the police station in Desenzano del Garda. Just as he was at the police station his cell phone reported the use of the stolen card.
After verifying that someone was making purchases and withdrawals with the credit card In the shopping center, the officers went to the place to check and noticed two suspicious people who were buying luxury shoes in a shop.
The check was costly for the thieves, a 50-year-old and a 45-year-old South American man, both illegal and with criminal records, who were found with stolen credit cards on them, with cash worth a thousand euros in their pockets, plus several recently purchased items worth around 4 thousand euros.
The two were arrested on charges of improper use of means of payment and reported as illegal in Italy.
