Administrative Service Association Statement Against Deprivation

The organization has made a statement protesting against the appointment of trusted officials of the previous government in important posts of the administration.

In a statement of Bangladesh Administrative Service Association on Wednesday (August 14) night, it is said, ‘We note with deep concern that even after a week has passed since the fall of the dictatorial government, their allies in the public administration are shaking the clock of the administration. They have re-emerged as opponents of building an impartial, efficient and professional public administration as a reflection of the philosophy and aspirations of the anti-discrimination student movement. Their supporting officers are being posted from one place to another.’

The statement said, ‘No secretary is resigning yet in view of the demands of anti-discrimination students. They took an oath to suppress the student movement in the secretary meeting on August 3.

It is also said that they have pledged full cooperation to the dictatorial government, they are still in good health. The caste-affiliated Daldas officers, who have been sitting in various stages, have not yet been removed from various important posts. As a result, there is a fear that the second freedom gained in exchange of the sacrifice of hundreds of martyrs will be destroyed in that particular area. We strongly demand that the officers of all levels who have been unjustly promoted and deprived in the last 16 years be promoted and appointed to suitable posts in the administration.
