Ade explained that Angela Lee often purchases luxury bags from FI, through an intermediary.
Because there had never been any payment problems and she was considered trustworthy, FI then made a direct transaction with Angela Lee.
On that occasion, Angela Lee bought 15 luxury bags from the Louis Vuitton and Hermes brands using the installment method.
“There are a total of 15 Hermes and LV brand bags,” said Ade at his office, Thursday (15/8).
However, after purchasing the 15 bags, Angela Lee’s installment payments suddenly became irregular.
It was later discovered that Angela Lee had embezzled the deposit money from the sale of the bag.
“Indeed, the agreement was for several payments, but in fact, the buyers or end users had paid the money to the suspect, but the suspect did not hand over the money to the victim,” he said.
Celebrity Angela Lee is suspected of embezzling money from luxury bag sales to pay debts.
