Alessandra Meyer-Wölden has moved back in with her ex. She and Oliver Pocher live under the same roof again.
Comedian Oliver Pocher was together with Alessandra Meyer-Wölden from 2009 to 2013. They tied the knot in September 2010, and divorced in 2014. But the two are still in contact. Not only because of their three children together – a daughter and twin sons – but also because they have been recording the joint podcast “Die Pochers! Frisch recycled” for several months. Now the ex-couple have grown even closer: Meyer-Wölden is living with Pocher again.
The designer announced this in a new podcast episode on August 15, 2024, called “Coming home.” The Munich native has actually been living in Miami for several years, but has now left the USA and moved to Germany – more precisely to Cologne, where Oliver Pocher lives.
“You’ve actually known for years that we’d be moving back at some point. The first breaking news of the day: We’re officially back in Germany,” said Meyer-Wölden to Pocher and her listeners. She and her children made the decision to move to Germany “after a big family meeting.” The reason for this is that Meyer-Wölden is “totally involved professionally” there, partly because of her podcast.
“We’re staying with you for now. At home,” the 41-year-old also announced in conversation with Pocher. His house is “big enough.” However, their living together is a temporary solution until Meyer-Wölden has found a suitable property. But the shared apartment seems to be working. “We all get on well. The children are happy. I think you’re happy that I’m here too. I bring a bit of order to the house. And healthy food. And I look after yourself a bit too,” she says.
At first, Meyer-Wölden wanted to return to her hometown of Munich, where her mother, brother, friends and “of course my heart” are. But the media city of Cologne convinced her for professional and family reasons. However, Meyer-Wölden did not move back to Germany with her entire family. She has two more children, also twins, from her marriage to an American businessman. They stayed in Miami, where their base is. “But we’ll find a solution there too. We’ll try it out for half a year now, [wir] commute,” explains Meyer-Wölden.
