It is a stove that generates hydrogen from one resource: water (H2O), says Fernando Vargas, founder and president of the general assembly of the UDES.

Explain that this is achieved through the hydrogen (H2) of oxygen (Or) by using a an electrician adapted by the university, placed next to the kitchen.
“This stove uses only water and generates a flame that cooks the food.” says Vargas.
He points out that it is a sustainable solution as it requires no fuel, only distilled water or even rainwater, which means that “the operating cost is zero because the water is worthless and the stove is only so much.”
“The most expensive is the hydrogen equipment, which is made of surgical steel, where the water is broken down and the hydrogen is produced” reflects Vargas.
UDES green hydrogen stoves use water as the only ‘fuel’.
Marketing
A piece of equipment with this technology was donated by ACCIDENT to the Callao soup kitchens, thanks to an agreement signed between the university and the regional government of the port.
The purpose of the house of study is to seal a wider agreement, with the Ministry of Energy and Minesso that this entity first subsidizes a series of stoves for soup kitchens and the most vulnerable sectors of Lima.
“Then we will look for the industry to market hydrogen stoves” Details Vargas.
UDES has also signed an agreement with CD Lima of the Peruvian College of Engineers regarding the development of skills in renewable energy, with an emphasis on green hydrogen.
