The trade unions with ready proposals to the new power about what should be done in various social spheres. The government must seek solutions to pressing issues in health care, education, working conditions, social security, collective bargaining, income and pensions. This was explained by Dimitar Manolov, president of KT Podkrepa.
“We have prepared material that we hope will be handed to someone. It is about 10 proposals that must be implemented,” said Manolov.
Manolov explained that one of the key problems in the country is related to the adequate minimum wage. “The European directive is knocking on the door, and we have a political solution that somewhat works, but creates more difficulties. In this directive is also the requirement to increase the scope of collective bargaining. Another problem is that collective bargaining is prohibited by law for civil servants,” the expert told NOVA NEWS.
“The water crisis is due to the old plumbing system, which is not adequately cared for. “Nobody has tried to implement sustainable solutions, not because they don’t know or can’t, but because they don’t have the means,” he added.
The president of KT Podkrepa pointed out that the debate in Bulgaria on the subject of the adoption of the euro has not yet taken place. He explained that these issues require political leadership.
Manolov added that the topic of energy continues to be in the foreground, where there are no ideas on how to solve the problems.
