jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The autonomous youth body of the National Awakening Party, Garda Bangsa, will help ensure the smooth running and success of the 6th PKB Congress in Bali on August 24-25.
Garda Bangsa will work together on the security committee with pecalang and local traditional organizations, for the smooth running of the congress and to maintain peace in Bali.
“If there are any parties who disrupt the PKB Congress in an unconstitutional manner, we will beat them up,” said the Head of the DKN Garda Bangsa Organization, Bustanul, in Jakarta, Monday (19/8).
“We were ordered to maintain and synergize with traditional organizations, so that the conference is successful and the Bali tourism atmosphere remains comfortable with the presence of delegates in this Land of the Gods,” he added.
Bustanul, who is also the Security Division of the PKB Congress, stated that all National Guard cadres were deployed to secure the running of the Congress.
“Two days before the opening of the Congress (22/8), we will carry out a joint security force deployment with 1,100 personnel at the Congress location, in Nusa Dua,” said Bustanul.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of DKN Garda Bangsa M Rodli Kaelani stated that Garda Bangsa as the party’s youth wing requested and supported Gus Muhaimin Iskandar again to lead PKB.
“As a channel for the political cadre development of young NU cadres, PKB has proven to be a space for the actualization and acceleration of NU cadres in politics, as evidenced by the fact that almost 100% of PKB politicians (legislative-executive) come from genuine young NU resources such as IPNU, IPPNU, PMII, Ansor and Fatayat, even the Gus from Islamic Boarding Schools,” said Rodli.
The National Guard will collaborate with 1,100 joint officers to secure the PKB Congress in Bali.
