E‘Meppadiyan’ is a movie directed by newcomer Vishnu Mohan starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role. It was also a film starring Unni Mukundan as the family hero apart from the action hero environment. A month after its theatrical release, it was released on ODT. With the release of the film on Amazon Prime, Jayakrishnan and his team became the talk of the town again. Now, the comment that came to the post shared by Unni Mukundan and the reply given by the actor to it is getting attention.
Unni Mukundan’s character Jayakrishnan came to the government office and Unni posted a disappointing scene. The post captioned the dialogue, “Sir, a government office should be there to help ordinary people.” Below this, many people came with comments.

If necessary, I will shamelessly celebrate this film for the rest of my life as an actor. I am proud of how good the film is and how well it has been received by the audience, ”said Unnimukundan.
Meppadiyan hit theaters on the 14th of last month. The film, which was announced in 2019, was later delayed by Kovid due to some technical reasons. Unni Mukundan’s makeover for the film was a big hit.
The film also stars Aju Varghese, Indrans, Saiju Kurup, Vijay Babu and Kalabhavan Shajon in lead roles. Neil D Kunja is the cinematographer. Editing Shamir Mohammad. Music by Rahul Subramaniam. Edited by Shamir Mohammad. Sabu Mohan is the art director. The film was reported to have grossed Rs 2.4 crore as theatrical share alone. The film reportedly grossed Rs 2.5 crore on satellite rights and Rs 1.5 crore on OTDT rights.
The film was also screened at the Dubai Expo. The exhibition was at The Forum Level 3 at the India Pavilion at the Expo. It was also the first Malayalam film to be screened at the Dubai Expo.
