Islami Andolan Bangladesh Senior Naib Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim called upon the current government to accept the demands by declaring solidarity with all the moral demands of the village police.

Solidarity of Islamic movement with the demand of village police

On Monday (August 19) he made this call after meeting the members of the village police who were on hunger strike on the street in front of the National Press Club.

Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim said that in the last 16 years, the fascist dictatorial government has exploited the country and turned it into a bottomless basket. All the country’s money has been looted and smuggled abroad, leaving the country in dire economic bankruptcy. Every MP, minister, administrative officer-employee of the fascist government has destroyed the country. Even the peon of Sheikh Hasina’s office has become the owner of Tk 400 crore. So it is easy to imagine that the party leaders and workers, administrative bureaucrats and employees have looted to what extent. Now arrangements should be made to deposit this money in the state treasury. And the village police have found it difficult to survive by eating two handfuls of pulses and rice.

Declaring solidarity with the movement of the village police, he said that the job of the village police should be nationalized. Their salaries should be increased. He also assured to speak to the upper echelons about the demands of the village police and announced that all efforts would be made to implement their demands.

The party’s Nayeb Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim Shaikh Charmonai and other top leaders will be present in the conference.
