Polio drops

Polio drops are being given nationwide to children under the age of 5 to eradicate juvenile rheumatism. Accordingly, specialized centers have been set up in Dindigul district to provide polio drops to children at 1,313 places across the district such as government hospitals, primary health centers, ancillary health centers, nutrition centers and schools.

Children were given polio drops at these centers from 7 am to 5 pm today. In addition, polio drops were distributed at 28 mobile vaccination camps and 51 transport camps. For this 5 thousand 276 employees were assigned throughout the district.

The camp at the bus stand was inspected by Natham Regional Medical Officer Zak Abdullah. He was accompanied by Health Superintendent Maharajan and health inspectors and staff.
