Taiwanese chip giant TSMC launched its first European factory in Germany

The Taiwanese world number one in electronic chips TSMC launched work on its first plant in Europe on Tuesday August 20. Located in eastern Germany in Dresden, the site must be operational by 2027. It is a project the highest order for Berlin and the European Union. And for the occasion, German President Olaf Scholz and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also made the trip.
