The request by which a lawyer intends to challenge one of the members of the District Disciplinary Council must be presented before the hearing and in any case no later than seven days after knowledge of the facts that justify it. This is stated by the National Council of Lawyers with sentence no. 133 issued on 8 April 2024. The case in question originates from the disciplinary dispute against a lawyer that had led the District Disciplinary Council of Milan to apply the disciplinary sanction of a warning. The professional appealed, representing in particular in his defense the nullity of the provision as it was issued by a body incompatible with the decision.
