jpnn.comJAKARTA – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia admitted that he was ready to take the form to register himself as General Chair of the Golkar Party.
According to Bahlil, he will pick up the form on Monday (19/8) evening.
Bahlil said this when asked by reporters whether he would register as a candidate for number 1 in the Golkar Party.
“Later tonight, pick up the form. Register,” said Bahlil at the State Palace, Monday (19/8).
Journalists also joked that Bahlil is currently a minister and will later become the general chairman of the banyan tree party.
“Allah knows best,” replied the former Minister of Investment.
It is known that Bahlil Lahadalia has a big chance of becoming the sole candidate for general chairman of the DPP Golkar Party.
Deputy Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Nurdin Halid supports Bahlil Lahadalia as a candidate for general chairman. Nurdin said that if Bahlil later registers as a candidate for general chairman at the Golkar Party National Conference (Munas) on August 20, Golkar Party cadres throughout Indonesia will support the figure of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
