A strange passenger appeared in the vicinity of the Line 2 of the Mass Transportation System (STC) Metro, which generated great confusion among the users of the orange worm and caused the mobilization of the elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC).

The security department reported that this morning it received a citizen alert about a snake that was abandoned inside a jug at the station Revolutionso the police went to the place to corroborate the report.

At the site, the uniformed officers confirmed the discovery and asked the personnel Civil Protection of the Metro support in the situation.

Officers from the Banking and Industrial Police (PBI) protected the specimen, which was a viper at least one meter long, and transferred the reptile to the inside of the jug at the Cuauhtémoc station, Line 1where they awaited the intervention of the Animal Surveillance Brigade (BVA), of the capital police, for proper handling.
The specialists evaluated the specimen and classified it as a fifty-year-old, which was protected and transferred to their facilities in Xochimilco for evaluation by a veterinary zootechnician.

This is not the first time that the BVA has rescued an animal in the Metro, since in January he rescued a ringtail that was wandering around the Cuauhtémoc station.
