RK Selvamani re-elected as President of Film Directors Association

Chennai: RK Selva Mani has been re-elected as the President of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association. Elections to the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association are held every 2 years. As the tenure of RK Selvamani, who was the chairman till now, has come to an end, the election to select new executives was held in Chennai yesterday. Attorney S. Senthilnathan was the Returning Officer. One team led by K. Bhagyaraj and another led by RK Selvamani contested the election. R. Madesh and S. Ehil were elected unopposed as Vice-Chairmen. RK Selvamani, who contested against K. Bhagyaraj for the chairmanship, got 955 votes and defeated K. Bhagyaraj by 389 votes. The vote count for other executives is ongoing. All results will be released today.
