In the letter, the French president wrote, ‘As Bangladesh now enters a transitional period, the important task of the interim government under your leadership will be to prepare the ground for democratic elections and ensure a peaceful and participatory national election. I welcome the message you have already sent in this regard.’
He also wrote, ‘France will have full support during this critical period your country is going through.’
Emmanuel Macron also expressed hope that France’s joint commitments on essential issues such as human rights and respect for minorities, adaptation to climate change and the fight against poverty will continue to strengthen bilateral relations.
In the letter, Emmanuel Macro wished the interim government success in facing all the challenges ahead.
