Cora struck first
“I wish Ralf had involved me or at least made me part of his decision; it would have been a sign of respect. During his time in F1, there were many rumors in the paddock. I asked him to clarify if what was said was true, but he always denied it, telling me I was imagining everything and that I needed psychological help,” Cora explained.
“When he announced it, it felt like a stab in the heart. Coming out always affects those around you, including the ex-wife with whom you had a child,” she added.
The former Formula 1 driver published a long message on his social media explaining the scandal that arose with his ex-wife, and a series of images from their conversations with Etienne, his boyfriend, left her in a bad light.

In the screenshots of the WhatsApp messages published, Cora is seen congratulating Etienne about their relationship thinking they had gotten married.
“With all the back and forth, I would like to make it clear that Cora congratulated us in September (early October) 2023 because she thought we had gotten married. She was also happy. As can be seen in this message personally addressed to Etienne. I think it’s a shame for Etienne and me that so many lies are being spread. We both just want to be left in peace,” stated Michael Schumacher’s brother on his Instagram.
The model reacted with fury and hit back on Instagram, calling her ex-husband’s actions pathetic for publishing images of private conversations, stating that it is “illegal.”
“How pathetic does a person have to be to illegally publish private WhatsApp messages to hide the truth?” Cora said on Instagram.
