The twelfth season of Charterfeber premiered on Tuesday. The first episode was watched by nearly three times as many viewers as the previous season from 2020.
Additionally, it is the best premiere numbers of the year for Viaplay after Paradise Hotel in January, according to the press release, which states: “For 18 years, Viaplay and TV3 have sent tourists south with TV cameras in tow, and it’s clear that the formula still works for Norwegian viewers.”

– We knew that there was a strong demand for Charterfeber out there, and it’s one of the series people often ask us to produce more of. But such a start was something very few of us dared to hope for, says program editor Jonas Møller at Viaplay Group.
– It has just barely begun, but I have so much love for these participants for what they have delivered for this year’s season. I’m itching for the rest of Norway to follow the group further, because here we have just started to taste the Irish on our tongues, says Møller.
