Heavily armed police raided the home of the misogynistic influencer, Andrew Tate, in Romania as part of an investigation into human trafficking and pedophilia.

The police announced that four searches were conducted as part of the investigation into alleged crimes by Andrew Tate.

The 37-year-old, who describes himself as a misogynist, has gained millions of followers, particularly among boys and young men, promoting an extremely masculine lifestyle that often belittles women.

Last year, he and his brother Tristan were charged with human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang for the sexual exploitation of women, charges they denied. The brothers and two women from Romania are awaiting trial and deny the charges against them.

Tate’s representatives confirmed that the police raided the brothers’ home. In a statement, a representative said: “Although the claims in the search warrant have not yet been fully clarified, they include suspicions of human trafficking and money laundering. The brothers’ legal team is present to ensure that all procedures are conducted properly.”

In July, a Romanian court overturned a previous decision that allowed Tate to move freely within the European Union while awaiting his trial.

Andrew Tate, a former kickboxer with 9.9 million followers on X, has repeatedly claimed that prosecutors have no evidence against him and that there is a political conspiracy to silence him.

In the past, he has been banned from various social media platforms for expressing misogynistic views and hate speech.
