Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that the large-scale entry of Ukrainian forces into Russia’s Kursk region is part of a systematic effort to end the 30-month war on Ukraine’s terms, Reuters reported.

The Russian air defense forces today shot down 2 Ukrainian missiles, 2 drones and 3 guided air bombs in the border areas above the Kursk region, the governor of the region, Alexei Smirnov, reported in Telegram, as quoted by TASS.
