/ A shooting broke out in front of a court building in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Tuesday, resulting in the injury of 5 people and the killing of the gunmen, according to Turkish media reports.
A Sky News Arabia correspondent reported hearing gunfire in front of a court building in Istanbul, noting that the police closed the place.
Local media reports said the incident took place at around 12 noon local time, in front of Gate C of the Çaglayan Courthouse, noting a heavy police presence.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said in a tweet on his X account: “Today, at 11:46, an attempt was made to attack the checkpoint in front of Gate C of Istanbul Caglayan Courthouse.”
“The attackers, a woman and a man, were neutralized. Six people were injured, including three police officers,” he added.
