jamui: The person who threatened to blow up Ayodhya with a bomb has been arrested by the police from Jamui. The arrested person is being questioned rigorously. However, the arrested person is said to be mentally deranged and hails from a village in Khaira police station area. Regarding the matter, SI Rajesh Kumar and constable Rajesh Yadav of Cantt police station of Ayodhya district of UP reached Khaira police station on Thursday and are trying to get information about the threat from the accused mentally deranged person, but due to his mental imbalance, he is unable to tell anything. SI Rajesh Kumar of Cantt police station said that on August 20, a call was made from a number on the mobile of Praveen Kumar Pandey, a resident of Cantt area. During the call, suddenly abuses started and threats were given to blow up Ayodhya with a bomb. A non-primary case was registered in the Cantt police station on August 21. After that, they reached Khaira.
Trainee DSP cum Khaira SHO Durgesh Deepak said that on 21st August, the police of Ayodhya Cantt police station had informed SP Dr Shaurya Suman that a person named Praveen Kumar Pandey of Cantt area had received a call from a mobile number and was threatened to blow up Ayodhya.
After that, on the instructions of SP Dr. Shaurya Suman, a team was formed under his leadership. After that, under technical investigation, the location of the said mobile number was traced which was found to be of Khaira police station area.
During this raid, the said person was arrested but he turned out to be mentally deranged and is unable to tell anything, but he is being questioned. Further action will be taken after the questioning.
