jpnn.comCILEGON – PT PLN Indonesia Power UPT Suralaya supports the free nutritious meal (MBG) program currently being launched by the central government.
Evidence of this support began with participation in the free nutritious meal trial held on Wednesday (21/8) at SDN Kedalaman 4, Cibeber District, Cilegon City.
HR and Public Relations Manager of PT PLN Indonesia Power Aditya Chandra Dewa said that his party also took part in the free nutritious meal program.
“We are committed to supporting the program, especially in the three-day trial,” Aditya told JPNN Banten, Thursday (22/8).
According to Aditya, there are eight companies that have contributed to the success of this national program.
“We allocate from the company’s CSR (corporate social responsibility) with a budget of IDR 25 thousand per portion,” he said.
“During the free nutritious meal trial, we got a quota of 1,700 students in five schools,” he added.
Regarding the future mechanism, said Aditya, it will be discussed again with the Cilegon City Government (Pemkot).
The free nutritious meal program in Cilegon City is fully supported by the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds.
