This year, the festival managed to attract nearly a million visitors over the five days of festivities, demonstrating its growing appeal among local and international audiences.

The festival’s closing stage offered a dazzling spectacle, bringing together renowned artists who captivated the audience with their exceptional performances.

The closing day of the Ifrane International Festival was marked by two memorable events. The “water carnival” animated the streets of the city with the participation of more than 160 children from the provincial holiday camps.

At the same time, a tribute was paid to Tarik Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan Olympic football team, which won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games, thus highlighting Morocco’s excellence in the sporting and cultural fields.

Mohcine Ifrane, a key figure in Moroccan artistic culture, enchanted the audience with his captivating voice, skillfully combining tradition and modernity. Aarab Hadou, for his part, demonstrated all his talent in the chaabi and traditional register, offering a musical journey through the rich Moroccan heritage.

Dadju, a rising star of the French scene, continued the evening, mixing R&B, pop and rap in an energetic set that got the crowd going.

Finally, rapper LHOR had the honor of closing the festival, delivering committed lyrics with a worked flow that is reminiscent of his inspirations such as Tupac and Kery James. His final performance marked the highlight of the evening, offering a powerful and memorable conclusion to this sixth edition of the Ifrane International Festival. This program illustrated the diversity and richness of the current music scene.

The exceptional attendance of this edition underlines the growing enthusiasm for this event which celebrates the cultural and artistic wealth of Morocco. The streets of Ifrane vibrated to the rhythm of musical performances, exhibitions and varied activities, offering visitors an immersive experience in Moroccan culture and in particular that of the Middle Atlas region.

In a statement to MAP, the festival’s artistic director, Nabil El Jay, shared his enthusiasm for the success of this edition.

He stressed that the organizing team had set itself the goal of surpassing the attendance records of the previous year, a challenge it successfully met.

Mr. El Jay explained that this success was not the result of chance, but the result of meticulous planning and organization.

“We have restructured and redesigned the main stage to accommodate a larger audience,” he said, noting that “the artistic programming has been carefully crafted to satisfy the varied tastes of the audience, from the young to the old, including families and international visitors.”

The festival showcased Moroccan musical diversity, offering a mix of traditional and modern styles. Renowned artists such as Najat Aâtabou, Hatim Ammour, El Hor and Zohair Adha shared the stage with emerging talents, offering a comprehensive overview of the national music scene.

One of the highlights of the festival was the spectacular performance of the “Ahidous Symphonies”, featuring 260 musicians and dancers representing 29 tribes from the Ifrane region.

This unique performance, led for the first time by a female conductor, highlighted the region’s rich intangible cultural heritage.

Beyond its artistic aspect, the Ifrane International Festival also plays an important role in promoting tourism and the local economy.

Created in 2016, the event aims to highlight the economic, natural and tourist potential of the province of Ifrane, while celebrating the diversity of Moroccan intangible heritage and its openness to world cultures.

This year, the festival also focused on the importance of preserving the environment, choosing as its theme “the forest, a national heritage”. This choice is explained by the unique geographical position of Ifrane, nestled in the heart of the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas.
