The Defense Resources Agency under the Ministry of National Defense signed contracts with 5 Lithuanian companies: UAB Dangolakis, UAB RSI Europe, UAB LTMILTECH, UAB GRANTA AUTONOMY, UAB Unmanned Defense Systems. More than 2.3 thousand will be delivered to the Lithuanian army. combat drones (FPV) for 3 million EUR, for the armed forces of Ukraine – almost 5 thousand. drones of the same type for 5 million Eur.
Drones for both Ukrainian and Lithuanian armies are purchased with all additional accessories, equipment and training required for launch and control.
It is planned that the first drones will reach Ukraine at the end of September this year. All drones will be delivered both to the armed forces of Ukraine and the Lithuanian army by the end of this year.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine conducted tests of combat drones of Lithuanian manufacturers in an environment corresponding to frontline conditions. These tests were organized so that Ukraine could select the products that best meet the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.
