(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 26 AUGUST – With the aim of expanding future prospects for the creation of a European Big Science market, worth approximately 10 billion euros per year, the third edition of the Big science business forum will be held in Trieste from 1 to 4 October, an event that will bring together some of the main scientific infrastructures in Europe and leading international companies in the high-tech and innovation industrial sectors.
The Bsbf 2024 – explains a note – will be presented on September 20 in Trieste and is promoted by the 10 main European Big Science organisations (Cern, Esa, Eso, Ess, Esrf, European xfel, Fair, F4e, Ill and Skao), with the support of Periia.
The program, a note anticipates, includes visits to research centers between Italy and Slovenia; 6 plenary sessions with institutions, the world of science and representatives of the 10 Big Science organizations and industry; 16 parallel sessions on the technical aspects and methods to increase the involvement of industries in the world of Big Science, starting from those of Central Eastern Europe.
The participation of over 80 speakers and at least 1,000 delegates from 500 organizations is expected, who will find 150 stands, with 14 national pavilions, inside the Generali convention center. Along with Italy, 19 other countries will be present: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, China, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Slovenia.
