Variant 2 was withdrawn today in the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) for the additional state matriculation examinations on demand. For them, 511 high school seniors, who are distributed in 92 schools and 196 halls, submitted applications, the press center of the Ministry of Education and Culture reported.
The last matriculation examinations for the August-September session are for subjects from general education preparation (OOP) and from profiled preparation (PP). Applications for examinations have been submitted for philosophy (OOP), geography and economics (OOP and PP), history and civilizations (OOP), mathematics (OOP), biology and health education (OOP and PP), information technology (OOP and PP ), Russian language (PP), German language (OOP) and English language.
Most of those who wanted to pass the Matura in Geography and Economics (OOP) – 221, and in Biology and Health Education (OOP) – 129, reports BTA.
As BTA wrote, the mandatory state matriculation exams from the August-September session took place last week.
The current session is attended by high school seniors who have not successfully passed the exam in previous campaigns.
Those who wish to take an exam in a subject they have already taken are also allowed to use the new grade for applying to higher education.
Those who do not have a grade in a given subject in their secondary education diploma can also take the exam.
On August 22, the state matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature from the August-September session took place. It was attended by 5030 seniors. The exam took place in 620 halls of 230 schools in the country. An essay on the phrase “If I don’t have love, I’m nothing” or an interpretive essay on the poem “To my first love” by Hristo Botev had the opportunity to write today for the 41st task of the matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature.
On August 23, the second mandatory state matriculation exam took place. The graduates who took the matriculation exam in a profiling subject worked on option 2. On this exam, 1,640 students tested their knowledge of various subjects.
The most desired subject for the second matriculation was again the English language, with 507 matriculation students appearing for it. In geography and economics, 341 students appeared. In their last question, they argued a thesis about the factors that determine the development of mountainous regions in Bulgaria.
266 were the students of the biology and health education exam. In the last task, they described the activity of the heart and the role of the circulatory and lymphatic systems in the function of tissues and organs in the human body.
210 high school students appeared for the history and civilizations exam, 121 for entrepreneurship, 90 for philosophy, and 41 for mathematics.
Subject 16, which is different for each profession, was failed on the mandatory exam for acquiring a professional qualification (theory part). The students with the profession “Robot Programmer” wrote about the operating system of the robots. Trainee tourism animators developed the theme of animation for people with disabilities. The future tax and customs brokers wrote about placing the goods under customs regime.
