The CEV European confederation sent a congratulatory letter to referee Ivaylo Ivanov, who presided over 9 matches at the Olympic Games in Paris. The document was signed by Zorica Bielić, President of the European Commission of Referees and its Secretary Arturo di Giacomo.
Ivanov led the small final of the men’s tournament in Paris and received very high marks for his overall performance.

The decisions you made in a highly charged tournament helped the athletes perform at their best.
