New Delhi: Are televisions getting damaged faster now than before? In a survey of local circles, one in three people answered yes to this question. The cost of repairing at the company’s service center was very high, so such people got the TV repaired at their local service center. Most of the people said that the problem started after the one-year warranty of the TV ended, while only 3 percent of the consumers got it repaired during the warranty period.

31% of the consumers said that the repair cost was too high or they wanted advanced features, so they bought a new TV. The survey revealed that in the last 5 years, 35% of the people had bought TV from e-commerce platforms i.e. online. 36 thousand people participated in this survey of local circles. 64% of the respondents were men and 36% were women. The survey was conducted in 329 districts.
