Lisbon’s Meo Kalorama Festival Returns with Star-Studded Lineup Amid Band Cancellations

The Bela Vista Park in Lisbon will host a new edition of the Meo Kalorama festival this week – the third edition in total. The festival, which takes place from August 29 to 31, features names such as Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, Ana Moura, Jungle, Sam Smith, and Death Cab for Cutie + Postal Service, among many others. The Smile, a band formed by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood (from Radiohead) in partnership with Tom Skinner, were forced to cancel all dates of their August tour due to health issues with their guitarist.

The doors of Meo Kalorama will open daily at 4 PM, closing at 2 AM on the night of the 29th to the 30th and at 3 AM on the remaining days.
