New Delhi: Senior Indian batsman Virat Kohli has reached the eighth position with a gain of two places in the latest ICC Test rankings released on Wednesday, while his captain Rohit Sharma has lost one place to be at the sixth position. Apart from Rohit and Kohli, young Yashasvi Jaiswal is also included in the top 10 in the list of batsmen. He is at the 7th position with a gain of one place. England’s experienced batsman Joe Root remains at the top of the Test batting rankings after a good performance against Sri Lanka in Manchester. England’s Harry Brook, who scored 56 and 32 runs at Old Trafford, has reached the fourth position with a gain of three places.
