Amman: Mr. Bensaid holds meetings with several of his Arab counterparts and the Secretary-General of the Arab League

Amman – Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid held meetings in Amman on Wednesday with several of his Arab counterparts, as well as with the Secretary General of the Arab League, on the sidelines of his participation in the extraordinary session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports.

Mr. Bensaid met with the Bahraini Minister of Youth, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, the Libyan Minister of Youth, the Palestinian Minister of Youth and Sports, the Jordanian Minister of Youth and the Minister of Youth of the United Arab Emirates.

These meetings focused in particular on strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation as well as on ways to better serve youth in the Arab world.

On this occasion, Mr. Bensaid presented to his Arab counterparts the projects undertaken by Morocco in the service of youth issues, in particular the “Youth Pass”, the “Motatawi3” program (volunteer), the Morocco Youth Prize, in addition to the projects to strengthen infrastructure intended for young people.

The minister also discussed with his Arab counterparts the situation in the region and the latest developments and their impact on young people and their future, stressing the importance of coordination within regional and international bodies to better serve youth issues.

In the same context, Mr. Bensaid met with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Ghei, who heads the Arab League delegation during the extraordinary session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports.
