The Geissens come forward with alarming news: burglars tried to gain access to their home. The daughters witnessed the incident on site.

Since 2011, Robert and Carmen Geiss have been giving insights into the luxurious everyday life with their two daughters Shania and Davina in their RTLzwei show “The Geissens – A terribly glamorous family”. The family of four usually entertains viewers with their humorous, slightly goofy and cheerful nature. But now the Geissens are sharing a disturbing incident with their fans.

A few weeks earlier, there had been a raid on the villa in Saint-Tropez. Robert and Carmen Geiss had gone out that evening, the family reported in the podcast “Die Geissens”. Meanwhile, their daughters had wanted to have a cozy movie night and go to bed early. “My room is right next to the winter garden. I was just about to brush my teeth,” Davina remembers, adding: “Suddenly I heard a noise outside, as if someone was cracking something open.”

She then immediately informed her sister Shania. Then the two of them heard the doors to the winter garden open. In fact, burglars were at work. “They heard us because we were talking,” the sisters say.

Luckily, the perpetrators did not get into the house. “The children were scared! Three masked people broke into the conservatory. But the blinds were down and the burglars could not get into the house,” Carmen Geiss told the “Bild” newspaper.

The young women first called their parents, then the police. After about 20 minutes, both were there. The burglars had fled without taking anything. In the podcast, Carmen Geiss reassures her children should a similar incident ever happen again: “When the door at the back is closed, the door is bulletproof. No one can get in, that’s impossible, it’s like a panic room where there’s a panic button and everything. Never leave it, then nothing can happen.”
