Irfan Pathan has said that there will be stiff competition between the 3 players for a place in the fast bowling squad for the Indian team for the T20 World Cup.

At the 2021 T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, the much-anticipated Indian team advanced to the Super 12 round without even advancing to the semi-finals. Following the departure of Virat Kohli from the captaincy with the T20 World Cup, the Indian team is actively preparing for this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
Under Rohit’s captaincy, India whitewashed New Zealand, West Indies and Sri Lanka 3-0 to win the T20 series.
The Indian team is testing several players in preparation for the T20 World Cup. There is a fierce rivalry between Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar for a place in the batting.
In bowling, there is a rivalry between Avesh Khan, Hershel Patel and Mohammad Siraj. Bumra is the only permanent fast bowler. Deepak Sahar will be taken as the fast bowling all-rounder. Irfan Pathan has said that there is room for a left-arm fast bowler in the Indian team and that there will be competition between 3 left-arm fast bowlers for that position.
Speaking on the occasion, Irfan Pathan said that the Indian team has a competition for one left-arm fast bowler, along with the existing fast bowlers. Khalil Ahmed, Natarajan and Chetan Zakaria are the three left-arm bowlers who will feature in the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup. Left-arm fast bowlers always have a place on the team. Irfan Pathan has said that left is always right.
