The Board of Directors of Sonali Paper and Board Mills Limited, a listed company in the paper and printing sector of the capital market, has published the unaudited financial report for the second quarter (October-December, 2023) and half-yearly (July-December, 2023) of the financial year 2022-23.
According to published reports, the loss per share of the company increased significantly in the current second quarter. And the profit per share of the company has decreased a lot in the half-yearly quarter.
On Wednesday (28 August) Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) said this information.
Meanwhile, the loss per share (EPS) of the company in the second quarter of the financial year under discussion was Rs.(3.60). The loss per share (EPS) of the company in the corresponding period of the previous financial year was Rs.(0.75). As a result, the loss per share of the company has increased by Rs. (2.85) or 380 percent in the current quarter.
On the other hand, the profit per share of the company for the 6 months or half-yearly quarter was Tk 1.80. The company’s profit per share was Rs 3.60 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Accordingly, the profit per share of the company has decreased by Tk 3.60 or 67 percent in the current quarter.
The company’s net asset value per share stood at Tk 162.74 for the period ended December 31, 2023.
